Grovelling apology....

Sorry that I have not updated this blog in quite a while. The normal busy-ness of work, plus church , plus studying for a degree, makes updating blogs seem like too much of a luxuiry at present. Yes folks, I am using up all of my time just trying to stay alive here!

We are believing for a complete healing. Heidi spearheads, with her husband Rolland, one of the most incredible ministries of our day. Iris Ministries has been rocked by the love of the Father, and it shows!

Ok one quick update. If you login now, you get a Spanish flag on the left-hand-side menu. By clcking this you get a Spanish version of the website. We will be populating the different sections in either language as time allows.

Ok, something that we are really excited about....

Our church website got a touch of professionalism today, in that I managed to download and install a CMS (Contnet Management System) package called CMSimple. It is absolutely free, and I installed a "church" template that I got....yes you guessed....for free.

Let's mix! Mp3s etc

Well, one post will not bring the Blog out of its hibernation but at least it’s a start.

I met up with a guy who has sold us a 12-channel mixer for £100. He had to return to England and had no more use for it. This is the first piece of hardware that we buy but it is a start. From here, we aim to buy an amplifier and then hook up a laptop to it in order to play MP3 songs during worship services, as we have no worship leaders at present. This, together with the projection of the lyrics using a digital projector, should facilitate our worship service a lot.

So, I have the laptop, tomorrow will probably see me transferring the songs from my work PC to my laptop, and then I hope to connect some temp speakers to my laptop and test the whole thing on order to ensure a smooth movement from one song to the next etc.

We are really exciting about this development and feel that the Lord will greatly bless this and that this will be of great encouragement to the church.

Had a good time of prayer in the evening where I felt inclined to pray for an outpouring and a revival in this city. No doubt this is in the heart of God – when we still see a long stretch to go before the fields are ready for the harvest He exhorts us, “lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!”
